Many people aspire to work as a trainer. Training others is a skill, but who trains the trainer? Individuals progressing towards, or developing their role as a trainer face one of the most challenging and rewarding learning curves of their career.

This is a highly practical train the trainer training course providing a comprehensive foundation for new trainers in training session design, development and delivery. Delegates will acquire skills which enable them to prepare training objectives based on the needs of the individual and the business and also to select, develop and structure appropriate content. Participants will also learn how to maximise individual learning through their approach and training style and build greater confidence in their ability to interact with and motivate trainees.

I enjoyed the sections on personality traits as this gave me confidence in areas I originally thought were my weaknesses. Also identifying other peoples behaviours and how best to deal with people will be really useful not only in work in a trainer role but in all aspects of life where difficult people are! Also increased my confidence as a presenter and cleared up presentation of slides & handouts for me. Following the train the trainer course I went on the telephone skills & customer care course with yourselves. Some aspects overlapped, but I found this was good for me as it proved how much had sunk in as I was able to recall a lot of the information. This also gave me further confidence in dealing with similar difficult people but over the phone. David was a great trainer, he was relaxed at all times, never showed any signs of stress when people were being irritating and controlled the group well without it being obvious. Also as the courses are designed to be fun and David made us all laugh this helps to learn better and for info to stick in our minds. Thanks.
